Oh my this is our recent life in pictures! It has been a crazy, confusing, busy, proud, and triumphant time! Can't be prouder or happier of my family. They have truly astounded me in their accomplishments and victories. I am truly one of the luckiest woman in the world, I am married to my best friend and Heavenly Father has surrounded me with my wonderful kids biological and otherwise who are amazing to me and most certainly last but not least the faith that all of the things we go through are for a purpose and we will understand them at some point. I am so thankful to all of my family and friends who have stood beside me in all of this.

Daniel, Lanelle Simmons, and Mr.(coach) Adam Johnson at the District 4 Academic Athletic Banquet.

Can I just say I am glad my memory sucks, because if not I would just crawl into bed and sleep clear through May! I always forget how crazy life is in May! Track meets, baseball, middle school trips, high school trips, state track, banquets, 8th grade graduation, and high school graduation!! I really love it all, my house suffers ALOT though! Good thing only the people who know and love me come over, I have a constant and continual pile of clean clothes on my living room floor. Today is the last day of District track, Daniel will run in the 4X 200 relay and they have a great chance of going to state. Either way he has had a very great year. He threw awesome yesterday 121' 9" which is his personal best at a track meet. We are just so excited to see him doing so well. I am struggling a little with him graduating, thankful he is going to CSI, we are just so proud of him and what a great young man he is. KaeLee Rae is finally beating this flare up of her JRA, once she starts sleeping again I think she will get better really fast, 1 hr of sleep a night just isn't enough. She is a brave girl and has been inspiring to all of us! I am so thankful to her friends and those who love her so much that have carried her through this, with people like them surrounding her she will be able to deal with this so much easier! Abbie has started softball and loves it, she has had a hard time watching KaeLee go through this and truly has been such a big help, I don't know what we would do without all her help!! Delanie and Kyah are coming home for summer in one week! Kyah turns 2 in only 5 days, it is so hard to believe that! Kali and I took Lanie and got her wedding dress, Izaak said I can't run with this date but I could walk with it, he is a stinker, the date they have set is July 31, 2010. It is fun watching them together, Kyah has Izaak twisted around her fingers so TIGHT!! Ron is doing well his beets are up, which to some may not sound like a big deal, but at our house it is!

It has been a very rough month for our family but it is because of great friends and the love and support they give us that we get through it. I am honestly one of the luckiest woman in the world. I am unconditionally loved by my husband who is my best friend and we love spending time together, my kids, bonus included that are always there for an extra hug and to just listen to me. It is through times and trials like this that we have figured out who is important and matters, I am so thankful for those people who are around us.

KaeLee Rae

Within the last week KaeLee Rae has be diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, it is a fairly debilitating disease when it is flaring up. She has it in every joint from her jaw to her toes. She is currently waiting to see a Pediatric Rheuamtologist in Boise, and will be starting on the drug methotrexate this Friday. They treat the flares with high doses of pred nisone and the other medication is to hopefully maintain it. A whole bunch of KaeLee's friends and family are going to do a Arthritis Walk for her June 6th in Boise, check out this website https://www.kintera.org/faf/search/searchTeamPart.asp?ievent=296944&lis=1&kntae296944=6E335784780F47C59743C2680BCAF26E&supId=254523270&team=3394417
if you would like to donate to help research to find a cure. In the lower right hand corner just click on KaeLee's name and it will walk you through it. She is getting a little better but knows she has a long road ahead of her. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate so much all of the people who have been there for her and love her.

KaeLee and her Grandma Juita!
Halie, Lindsay and KaeLee all done.

Brook, KaeLee and Lindsay after their runway debut.

The besties!! They laughed a lot that day!

Ready to strut their stuff!

Ron & I's niece Lindsay is a student at The Hair Academy in Rexburg and she did a couple of hair shows this past weekend. On Friday KaeLee and Brook went up to model and then on Monday KaeLee and Halie went up. Lindsay's category was Avante Gard and she is amazingly creative. It was a lot of fun and the girls really had fun. KaeLee did decide rather quickly that modeling wasn't her thing! :) KaeLee was a fairy and Brook and Halie were Mermaids. We were so glad to get to spend the time with Lindsay, she is an amazing young lady!

Friends

A genuine friendship is a Heavenly present. It blesses our hearts because God's love is in it.

Right away from the very first week, God seemed to know that the world would be too wild and wooly for us to make it on our own.

He looked at Adam's single self and announced: "It's not good for man to be alone." Then he went to work and fashioned a friend for him named Eve.

When Noah came along and the rain became a flood, God knew Noah would be going through some pretty rough waters. So, he sealed Noah up in the ark and brought his family along for the ride.

God gave Joshua to Moses as a companion for his journey through the wilderness. For forty years they walked and talked and checked their maps, until finally they found the Promised Land.

Daughter-in-law Ruth was God's gift to Naomi after the rest of her family had died. In young David's most desperate hour, the Lord found Jonathan to be exactly the kind of friend David needed to make it to safety,

When everyone and everything was ripped from Job's hands, God allowed the comments of Job's comrades to keep him company.

And even as his only son traveled dusty roads and sailed stormy seas, God flanked Jesus with faithful friends and followers.

The Father knew we couldn't make it on our own either. So he birthed us into families. But he doesn's stop there. Once we've been born again, he sets us us with a loving community that laughs with us and cries with us and prays us on to forever.
Because of the events yesterday I have been thinking a lot of how fortunate my family is with the great friends we have in our lives. I hope to never take them for granted and that they always know the we love them and cherish them for the people they are.
