Jr. High Volleyball vs. Community School

We had a great day yesterday, we took our trek to Ketchum. The girls were happy to have the bus to themselves with NO Stinky boys this time. The Community School has some really nice people there and it was a refreshing difference from some of the Northside Schools that we have encountered. The A team won in 2 games, and so did our B team!! WOOHOO Red Devils!! It was a little hard on our A team girls to find out they don't get to play in the tournaments but they are ok now! I think it is harder on most of them to know that Mrs. Crystal won't be coaching them anymore!! KaeLee has big dreams that maybe she will coach High School next year! I don't know if that would happen, but it sure would be ok with me! I really enjoy watching her coach the girls. We stopped in Shoshone on the way home and ate WAY to much at the snack shack. Good burgers, fries and HUGE ice cream cones. When we got back to the gym Mrs. Crystal had them all meet in the New Gym and see the new Light the M banner. They sang the fight song and then went home. It was a great way to finish a great season!!

LIFE............

Well, not much new and exciting other than following my kids around. Spent the evening Tuesday at the gym watching Dietrich and Murtaugh play their Sr. Night. Got to watch Halie play here in Murtaugh. I really love these Sr. girls from Murtaugh and was so excited to get to watch them play this year. Yesterday we were on to Raft River for Jr. High Volleyball/Football. Today on to Ketchum, for just volleyball. KaeLee Rae got to go to Buhl yesterday for some Livestock Judging competition with FFA. She was excited to call and tell me that out team got 1st place. Delanie gave her a heck of a pep talk, Lanie loved FFA. We will find out today how they did individually. I started a blog yesterday for the school. It is fun this blogging, I am rather addicted, I owe that to Christine, she started it!! I tell Ron that too, that it is all her fault. Anyway the blog for the school is www.murtaughreddevils.blogspot.com this morning when I added to it the music wasn't playing so I have to fix that but it is neat to highlight our school. I am so proud of it!!
Well I better go do my stuff that I need to get done before I leave. Good Luck girls play your game!!

A GREAT WEEKEND!!

First, Delanie and Kyah came home! That is always good then after 2-1/2 weeks of Daniel not playing he decided to try and play in this game "just a little". His just a little turned out to be from start to finish but not as much on offense as defense. Halie and Jaren came down from Dietrich and watched his game. He was happy for that. Our Red Devils beat Jackpot 54-6, it was a fun game and was exciting to see a couple of boys make touchdowns that never have before. It was a clean game with good sportsmanship on both teams. COLD COLD COLD. It started snowing and we woke up Saturday to about 2 inches of snow, with it still falling. At about three in pulled Izaak and who is with him but OUR LUTTMER!! I was so happy to see him, it may be said that I shoved Lanie out of the way to get to him first, I plea the fifth on that, would I do that?? Anyway I got the hug of a lifetime and I even grabbed him and kissed him on the cheek. He looks wonderful.
We went to our Super Saturday and crafted at the church then on to Twin to get warm clothes for Kyah much sooner than anticipated!! I was tired and in bed asleep with Kyah by 8:30 while the party commenced in my living room. The kids had a great weekend along with Brook(of course), Randi, Kylee, Cierra, Jaren, Halie, Izaak, & Corbin here too. I love it, I love to hear them laugh and listen to their conversations. One of the funniest is listening to Izaak talk about trying to solve a Rubik's Cube!! Yes you read it right. He was working on it then kind of threw it in his chair and went in the kitchen, next thing you know Kyah is in his chair pretending to do the Rubik's Cube then toss's it aside and gets up.
Today(Sunday)Kyah woke up at 4:30AM. Her mom needed sleep since she has to drive home today so I took over. We read she really likes "The Day Jimmy's Boa ate the wash". I slept a little between 7:00 and 8:00 with her then got up. Needless to say I am a little sleepy, I put a ham in the oven, I am making a big dinner for all the kids before they leave. Now to watch our Seahawks!! GO SEAHAWKS!!! We are surrounded by Bronco's and Patriot's fans?!! UGHH
