More of the fort
Oh my it has been a while since I posted on here! This will be a modge podge of info and pictures! So much has happened. Ron & I went on our 20th anniversary cruise, Daniel finished basketball, Lanie & Izaak made the National Collegiate Honor Society, Halie got a stress fracture(Think she is joining the right family), KaeLee Rae started "her" sport, Track, and so did Abbie who was mad at me cause I forced her to and guess what, she LOVES it! Oh and definitely must tell you about Donkey Basketball!! Daniel and Izaak played and had a ball, it was much rougher this time. As a whole and not to bore you with many details I will quickly do the Readers Digest version for each of us!
Ron-Well thank heavens Farming has started he is so happy! Spent most of the spring cleaning up around the yard waiting for it to quit snowing and or raining! A little stressed when his "new to him" tractor from last year broke down, but he just keeps going! Smiles all the while he tries to keep up with me keeping up with the kids!

Me-Oh boy, finished my 2nd year as Booster club president and then also got done with Donkey Basketball, made close to $6000.00 for the school with the help of SOOO Many people! Thanks to all!! Getting geared up for athletic & Academic banquets, Daniel graduation :(, Dan in the Shrine game, Lanie and Kyah coming home for summer (WOOHOO) :), girls camp with KaeLee and Abbie and yes we are planning a wedding!! Just loving the life of mom, wife and grandma!
Delanie, Izaak, & Kyah-Oh they are doing SO good! I am so proud of them! They just never cease to amaze me. Izaak and Lanie were invited to a Conference in Washington DC this summer for The National Collegiate Honor Society(think that is what it is) and we are working on getting them there! They are just working their tails off, both made the Dean's list and are amazing!
Our little Kyah was in a pretty bad car accident with Brandan in March but she was safely secured and was absolutely fine. Brandan and AJ(his friend) got pretty banged up but walked away from it. An elderly lady pulled out in front of them. She was killed in the accident and we think of her and her family who I happened to know daily and pray that they have peace.
Kyah will be 2 in a month and it is so hard to believe. She talks a lot now and loves her Papa and Abbie the most. Although she does really like sleeping with her Maama, she sleeps, I don't!
Daniel is having a wonderful time with life! Started track which he loves. Burns up the road between here and Dietrich visiting and or getting his Halie. He gets to take her to Dietrichs prom this Saturday and to Murtaugh's May 2nd. We have his athletic banquet this Friday, it makes me really sad that his Sr. year is ending so quickly. He is thrilled and honored to get to play in the 32nd annual Shrine game on June 1st. Shriners Hospitals changed his and Delanie's lives and he is excited to be able to give a little back. He graduates May 21st. His plans are to attend CSI and get a teaching degree for Government and History & Coaching of course.
KaeLee has started track which she loves and is now working on her Supervised Ag Experience (SAE) for ag and is raising chickens. Luckily Carter and Laurel Dillman had a chicken coop so she is just raising them there and helping Laurel. Laurel is going to teach her how to sew and KaeLee also wants to make bread for sacrament for a 10 hr project. She has a crazy summer ahead of her, headed to High School. She has volleyball, basketball, girls camp, handcart trek & Drivers training. Oh Boy what a time in her life.
Abbie has taken up cooking! Oh my she makes the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. She loves hanging out with Jessica and babysitting. Helped me plant a whole bunch of plants in the garden the other day too. She is a sweet thing, it will be a fun summer for her, she gets to go to girls camp for the first time!
All in all life is great! I love being home. I have been going nuts on the Food Storage as of late, we have food everywhere. My latest is 36 cans of powdered milk!! I know this seems more like a diary to some but this is my journal too. Helps me remember what a great time of life I am in!
