Tag-a-long

1. I always and I do mean always have a book with me wherever I go. No matter if it is to a ball game or to sub, or just running an errand with Ron. I am always packing a book. Also, I can never quit a book. If I have started it, I have to finish it. I
2. I am obsessed with watching MASH, as my kids and husband know, I recently finished watching the whole series, from season 1-11. Luckily Ron enjoyed them too, although I cheated while he was working and watched a lot without him.
3. No one, and I mean no one is allowed to read the newspaper before me. I have to read it first and then I hand it to them one section at a time. I don't like it when it is not folded nice or wrinkled. Which for anyone who has seen my cluttered house would hardly believe that.
4. I cannot go to sleep without the TV on, I usually either fall asleep before Ron and he shuts it off, or I dose off and wake up and shut it off.
5. This one is from Ron, he says I am 37 years old and I have a serious problem of texting like a teenager. In my defense I am usually texting MY teenagers. It is a great way to communicate throughout the day.
6. I cannot stand to have my nails filed, or to be in a room when someone is filing. It makes me nauseous and just gives me the fool body shakes. Hence the fact that I do not have well groomed nails and I do bite them:)
7.I am absolutely obsessed with Seabiscuit. I have read and or listened to the book 4 times. Those of you who know me best know that I am an avid reader and as stated in #1 I always have a book with me. Well, of every book I have ever read, and there are 1000's it is my very very favorite. I have the paperback, the special edition, the letters to seabiscuit, and not 1, not 2 but 3 different movies including the special collector's edition of the movie. I even got online and listened to the actual races as they were broadcast on the radio at the time. I had a lady who worked with me take pictures of the Howard's ranch in California so I could see where Seabiscuit was buried, because yes I have seen where Seabiscuit was born. I even have looked into the Howard Family history, and where they are all buried. I know I can't explain it and my family doesn't want to.
Well, since Christine and Holly tagged me, I will tag, Judy, Debbie, Cierra, Kerstin, Christy, and Mary. Delanie was tagged by Christine too but I'm her Mom so I will tag her again!!

Kyah's Halloween

As you can see by the pictures she was a little distracted and would not look at me to get pictures. She was so funny on Halloween and was not at all scared by any of the scary masks, even not Sue Egbert's witch. She loved suckers and starbursts. Oh and the chili at the trunk or treat!

Kali's Wedding

A big congratulations goes out to Pat & Kali who were married October 31st in Twin. We were all really excited and happy for both of them. They are great and I have to say that Kali is and has been a great friend of mine it is great to see her so happy. Pat takes such good care of her and TJ and Riley were thrilled. Izaak, Delanie, & Kyah made it in time for the wedding from school and I was so thankful to Stacey for sending me this picture!! Aren't they cute!!
