Well our Middle School had their big volleyball game against Hansen today. It is always the game of the year, no matter the sport! They were nervous, the A Team (8th grade) had a game on Friday and well let's just say, they didn't play to the best of their abilities. Now whether it was Mrs Crystal's "motivational" speech or the laps they ran for the missed balls, they most definitely came out to play!! Our B Team (6th and 7th grade) have improved so much! They did so good, Jessica served like a pro. It was so fun seeing them fired up with their win. The A team was ready to go when it was their turn. Heidi Funk came out in game one and served 11 balls before our girls stopped her, they held her to only 2 points in the next 2 games. They only lost that game 25-22, they didn't get down and they came back with a vengeance to play the next two. Brook had 3 awesome spikes, Mrs. Crystal shouted out Happy Birthday to her on the court!! So here is a big shout out from us HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOK, WE LOVE YOU!! She was so excited after her 2 kills, it was so good to see those girls who have not always seen eye to eye come together and play so well as a team. They will most definitely be a force to be reckoned with in High School!!

This is homecoming week so I am working on signs for lockers and etc. I was excited tonight when KaeLee informed me Daniel was one of the Sr. Royalty for the game, of course he didn't tell me, something mom is much more excited about than him!!

It is always fun when a day ends and you have a smile on your face, all is well, Ron is thrashing beans and it is going well. Delanie called and her day was good, she said Kyah is being naughty, I don't believe it though! She is a perfect princess!! Her mommy just doesn't understand her!!

Well on to another great day tomorrow!!

Blue Turf!!

Well, Ron, Daniel, Trey, KaeLee and I (Abbie stayed home to babysit for some friends) set off for Boise at about 10:30am. Ron had already been up since 4am cutting beans! We were all anxious to get up there! The original plan was for Ron and Daniel to go to the game with Izaak and Delanie, as the day went on and Ron realized he was going to be in the student section he thought he might be out of place (imagine that) he told Trey to go to the game instead! He tried to act all heroic but I know it was because he wanted to play with Kyah. From the first moment we got there she was hooked on him. She loved and hugged on him the whole day. We went and saw Izaak's dorm, visited Izaak's dad Brad at his tailgating party and then sent the kids on the game while Ron, KaeLee and I went and babysat! It's a hard job but somebody has to do it :>)! Kyah was so cute, we went shopping, of course Aunt KaeLee had to buy her some stuff, then grocery shopping, a few supplies for Delanie, went to dinner where Kyah proceeded to eat a well rounded diet of grapes, ice and peaches. After that we played on the playground and watched her play with her toys in the bath. The whole time this is going on we are listening to the roar of the Boise State fans, and getting text messages from Delanie that simple said TOUCHDOWN BRONCOS! They had a great time, and Trey rattled on about it most of the way home!! HE was a giddy guy, we didn't know he had never been to a Football game other than high school!! That made the trip even funner!! We got home safe and sound at 12:20. Had a bit of a struggle getting up for church but we did it!! I recorded the BSU game and when we got home from church Trey showed us a highlight of the game and there in the crowds screaming their little heads off were my very own Bronco's Delanie, Izaak, Daniel, & Trey!! It was so cool!! Now if only our Seahawks can win today????
