Macho Macho Man??

Imagine her surprise!

Daniel's BIG feet

Well, I am not quite sure what brought on the Beauty Parlor party that happened tonight at our house, but it was hysterical. It all started when Halie came into my room to show me her "hairdo" that Daniel did, she insisted no hairspray. I am not sure what brought on Ron's involvement, but the next thing I know the toeniails are getting painted, hair is being fixed (a lot of hair spray is needed, it is getting thin) and then the cherry to top it off, MAKEUP! I laughed so hard watching the girls trying not to laugh long enough to put on makeup, Rosie had to take a deep breath 2 or 3 times just to get on the lip gloss. Listening to KaeLee Rae put on mascara, yelling "open your eyes, blink, blink, blink." Ron said more than once about the mascara and the lip gloss (which was my high quality Victoria's Secret) how he doesn't know how we wear it, he said "Feels like I have axel grease on". All the while Ron was getting "pretty" Halie was painting Daniel's toenails, which I informed him I would tell Coach Johnson about, and he then put on her makeup. When they were all done Ron went in the living room to wake Lanie up, she rubbed her eyes and informed him he couldn't be picked up in a bad neighborhood in New York looking like that. As she walked in to the bedroom while Daniel finished Halie, Lanie said I lay down for a minute to take a nap and wake up and my whole family belongs in a looney bin. Trey incidently steered clear of the bedroom, hoping out of sight out of mind, another time Trey, another time!

Adventures of Christmas

We have truly had so many Christmas Adventures!! We have had lots of snow, so the snowmobiles had to come out. Halie, KaeLee, Dan, Abbie, Delanie & even Brook got involved in that. I stayed inside where it was warm. We had Christmas Eve at Ray & Juanita's, it is always fun and the kids and us really look forward to it. The family had shrunk in size for a while but it is growing again, the more the merrier. Christmas morning game early and loudly. At 3:30 KaeLee bright and cheery was in our room. She had not gone to bed at all. I can never remember a time we have slept past 4, it is a payback for all the times I did that to my parents. The kids all had a ball, we were back in bed by 5. Kyah got home at 2 and loved all of her toys too. We had a wonderful Christmas with all of our families, the new and old. It is fun to start new traditions and keep the old ones continuing in a new generation.

My Devils!

I got each of the girls new sweat outfits for basketball and they were so excited. I meant to save it for Christmas but I am not very good at that!! Also I thought these pictures of Kyah playing in the lockers at school were too cute not to share!

December news

The last few weeks have been crazy. We had a holiday tournament at Murtaugh and the boys basketball team did an awesome job and they were fun to watch. They also had games in Bliss and Camas County and we had so much fun watching them play. The boys are all having fun playing and they impess me so much because they show such good sportsmanship.
There has also been breakfast with Santa and the elementary Christmas Program. Hopefully Christine or someone will post some pictures on that.
I would just like to wish eveyone a very safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Happy Birthday Grandma Nonie

My mom turned 60 on the 20th so we gathered at La Fiesta for dinner. Frank and Shana weren't able to make it because he had hurt his back really bad, and of course we missed Nathan(he was working) and Candace who will be here for Christmas but hadn't made it yet. Outside of our family, which has grown by 3 (Joey, Chelsea's boyfriend, Izaak, and Halie) Uncle Leon, Grandma, Jerry, & Wendy came also. We had a blast and the food was really good. My mom does not like to be put in the spotlight but as you can see by the sombrero she did get sang too! It was a great night! Happy Birthday Mom!

Breakfast with Santa

Murtaugh Middle School hosts a breakfast with Santa every year. We had a great time, as you can see by the picture Kyah didn't think she had time to get a picture taken. I get sad looking at the one of the girls, they grow so fast!!

STUFF!

Varsity Boys Vs. Hansen

Grandma & Kyah

KaeLee and Aunt Michele(the Bleakers)

Well we have just been running around. We have had KaeLee and Abbie's basketball games, which Ron is helping coach. Then following Daniel around too. They are all doing really good, Dan's feet are holding up pretty good, I am thinking it is all the prayers that have been asked on his behalf. We sure have fun following our Red Devils around!

Jim & Michele's Family

Well, what a week! We tried to fit a lot into a little time so that we could do it with Delanie and Kyah. We had a absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving at Michele's. I think she said there were 35 of us there. It was great because Ray & Juanita came too, therefore we had some of both of our families there. We had so much fun just visiting. Chelsea commented on how big we are getting with the "addition" of the older kids' boyfriends and girlfriends. Then we hurried home and dismantled things to put up the Christmas decorations. I have a fairly large collection of Nativity sets but decided with Kyah it may be too hard so we only put up 4. It turned out so nice because all of the kids including Izaak and Halie were here to decorate. The next day Brook came over and helped me wrap all of the presents. We sure missed her when she went with her family for Thanksgiving, KaeLee was kind of out of sorts the whole time she was gone. They are tight, and insist on spending almost all their time together. Of course Christine and I love it, they are great to have around, we spend a lot of time laughing. Abbie and I went and bought a few more ornaments on Friday because some of her favorites got broken, she was very proud to get a Twin Falls Temple one for herself. That day we also took Rosie to see Twilight, she was really excited and thinks it is time to try to read the book? It was a great holiday, Delanie and Izaak will be home a month starting Dec. 19th hard to believe the first semester is over already. They have done so well. We went in and got their pictures taken too which you can see on Delanie's blog. They are so cute.
